The University Woman’s Club will hold it's annual Fall Coffee at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. This event is the kickoff for the year and an opportunity to enjoy fellowship and refreshments with so many connected to the University of Georgia. Information and registration for Interest Groups will be available.

Associate Athletic Director for Capital Planning
University of Georgia Athletics Association
Topic: Coordination, planning, and implementation of all the athletic and sports programs at UGA
Tanner Stines serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Capital Planning and Auxiliary Administration at the University of Georgia. He oversees day-to-day operations of athletic facilities, maintenance, and grounds departments, while managing capital projects and construction initiatives. Stines manages and executes auxiliary revenue opportunities such as concerts, outside rentals, alternative sporting events, and live entertainment when athletic facilities are not in typical use. He coordinates football travel for both Campus and Athletic Administration, and serves as the sport administrator for Baseball, Equestrian, Cross Country, and Track & Field.
The UWC 2026-2027 Budget proposal will be presented for acceptance.

Topic: Providing resources for students who need assistance
Julia Buwick serves as a Community of Care Coordinator for Basic Needs in Student Care and Outreach. She earned her Undergraduate Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Business from Appalachian State University in 2015 and a Master of Education in Professional School Counseling from the University of Georgia in 2018. Julia works to provide resources to support students’ basic needs. Additionally, Julia serves as program coordinator for Embark@UGA, an initiative on campus to support students who have experienced housing insecurity, homelessness, and/or foster care.
